Dynamic Suggested Questions for Chatbots

Benefits of Generating Dynamic Suggested Questions

Traditional customer support chatbots often employ static suggested questions, which can be limiting and less engaging. Dynamic suggested questions offer several advantages:

  1. Personalization: Customize suggested questions based on the user's query, guiding the conversation in the most relevant direction.
  2. Efficiency: Assist users in formulating the most appropriate questions more quickly.
  3. User Engagement: Maintain conversation interest with dynamic content.
  4. Improved Relevance: Generate questions directly related to the user's current query, providing more contextually appropriate options.
  5. Enhanced User Experience: Deliver a more intuitive and seamless conversation flow, as suggested questions evolve with the dialogue.
  6. Increased Conversion Rates: By presenting more relevant options, users are more likely to find the information they need, potentially leading to higher conversion rates.
  7. Reduced User Frustration: Minimize the likelihood of users encountering irrelevant or repetitive suggestions, which can occur with static question sets.
  8. Scalability: Easily accommodate new products, services, or company information without manually updating a fixed set of questions.

By leveraging dynamic suggested questions, you can significantly enhance the user experience and improve the efficiency of steering conversations in the right direction.

How to Enable Dynamic Suggested Questions

You can activate dynamic suggested questions in the Interface Settings tab as shown below:

Dynamic Suggested Questions Settings

After enabling dynamic suggested questions, we will generate up to 4 suggested questions based on the user's last query and the chatbot's training data. These dynamic suggested questions will override any static suggested questions you've input and appear as inline suggestions in the chatbot widget interface. Consequently, the static suggested questions settings will only take effect when the conversation begins and the user hasn't input any query.
